San Francisco to Sydney in a Nutshell

Following is the itinerary for our trip home from San Francisco.

14th-18th April	Yosemite Valley	Snow! Everything else - this is one of our favourite places in the world, we were not leaving California without visiting Yosemite again.
18th-20th April	San Francisco	This was almost a photo-free day. Our only touristy activity was a visit to the Museum of Cartoon Art where photography was not allowed.
20th-25th April	Monterey	Monterey Bay Aquarium Carmel Mission Big Sur Hearst Castle Morro Bay
25th-26th April	San Luis Obispo	Views coming into San Luis Obispo San Luis Obispo del Tolosa Mission This has to be a highlight - it is the only tourist attraction we visited in SLO - unless you count the Il Beneuvetto Italian restaurant where we had a great, Italian meal.
26th-29th April	Long Beach	Queen Mary Catalina Island
29th April-4th May	Palm Springs	Indian Canyons Joshua Tree National Park Las Casuelas Terrazza An inexpensive Mexican restaurant on the main street; choice of eating outside on the terrace or inside; great food, especially their creamy Fiesta Guacamole; huge margaritas and daquiris.
4th-8th May	San Diego	San Diego Zoo Balboa Park
8th-16th May	Honolulu	Pearl Harbour and Punchbowl Byodo-In Temple Views from Diamond Head Lazy times at the beach
18th May	Sydney	Home!
